· This quote offers the following OEM equipment for a GE Frame 7FA+e Gas Turbine, Serial Number 298170, Model 7241.
· The condition of the turbine rotor is unfired and currently stored
· The rotor consists of both the compressor and turbine sections. The compressor is fully bladed with the exception of the R0 blades, which are stored separately . The R0 blades are the original style and are included as part of the package. Note that the R0 blade set needs to be moment weighed prior to installing which can be performed by our vender
· Date of manufacture: 2002
· Operating Hours: Never operated
· Rotor Storage: Stored horizontally and preserved for long-term storage
· A run out check and balance of the rotor was completed in September 2010. The rotor was also inspected in Dec 2011 and Dec 2012. A copy of these inspection reports can be provided upon request.
· The turbine section of the rotor is not currently bladed. However, we have included an optional price for Stage 1, 2 & 3 blades installed and balanced.
Frame 7FA.03 Hot Gas Path Blades:
7FA.03 First Stage Bucket
The bucket will be made of a proprietary directionally solidified alloy tailored for large industrial parts. Using a coating system comprised of a metallic bond coat applied by Low Pressure Plasma Spray (LPPS), or a High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF), and an air plasma sprayed (APS) thermal barrier coating (TBC) top coat. This coating provides superior protection against oxidation and thermal-mechanical fatigue cracking. The thermal barrier coating is used to reduce base metal temperature. For improved internal cooling passage effectiveness, this part contains a vapor phase aluminide coating on the internal cooling passages. In addition to improved material and coatings, the part incorporates several design changes to improve durability and reparability including: improved internal cooling to reduce metal temperature without increasing cooling air requirements and modified geometry to reduce stresses that lead to cracking in the trailing edge cooling holes.
7FA.03 Second Stage Bucket
The second stage buckets will be made of a proprietary equixed alloy tailored for large industrial parts. Using a coating system comprised of a metallic bond coat applied by Low Pressure Plasma Spray (LPPS) and an air plasma sprayed (APS) thermal barrier coating (TBC) top coat. This combination of alloy and coating provides superior protection against oxidation and thermal-mechanical fatigue cracking. The design of the part also incorporates improvements to shroud geometry that substantially improve part life. For improved internal cooling passage effectiveness, the part contains an aluminide coating on the internal cooling passages.
7FA.03 Third Stage Bucket The third stage buckets will be made of a proprietary equixed alloy and externally chromide coated. Using alloy that will provide a significant improvement in airfoil creep life. Improvements to shroud and airfoil geometry will further extend part life.
